*Camping du Lac is set in the amazing gardens and grounds of the Chateau of St. Agnan and runs down to the shores of the lake of St. Agnan. It is a very picturesque campsite with lovely views up the lake, one way, and romantic views through the shady trees, across the stream and old mill pond to the 18th century chateau. We have full access to the lake and can offer all up to date amenities for a wonderful holiday.
Camping du Lac is a family run business, it has been running as a campsite since 1984 and was totally re-furbished 5 years ago. It is now well known for its friendly, fun and welcoming atmosphere, we are always there to help you enjoy your holiday! Camping du Lac St Agnan is the perfect location for enjoying all that the lakes and forests have to offer, we are also ideal for visiting all that Burgundy is famous for.
Campsite in Burgundy
There are 70 spacious pitches of approximately 100 m2 dotted all over the grounds, over half of the pitches have electricity and there are water points all around the site. There are pitches with lake views, some next to the stream, others with long views across the grounds and past the pond and others next to the play ground, sandpit and trampolines. There is a large well equipped shower and toilet block with plenty hot showers, privacy cubicles and ladies and gents toilet blocks. The washing up area is next to the shower block and stands next to a well organised re-cycling bay. For your security there is just one main entrance for cars and pedestrians which is around the front of the Chateau and runs past the main reception where our friendly staff will book you in and help you with all your enquiries. We have a well stocked information centre, internet access and our small shop sells fresh bread and croissants each morning. We also keep a well stocked ice cream fridge.

* There is a friendly bar serving drinks inside or out on the terraces.
* The restaurant is popular with campers and tourists alike and serves meals each evening, snacks at lunchtime and breakfasts each morning both in the restaurant and on the terraces to the front and rear of the chateau.
*There is also a small selection of take away food including large cartons of chips and sandwiches.
The lake side of St. Agnan in the camping is perfect for launching kayaks, boards, small fishing craft and inflatables. We also have kayaks for hire. The water is shallow in our bay and is warm for swimming and playing. There is plenty space for sunbathing and picnics next to the water but it is just a couple of minutes walk back to the pitches.

The Morvan Park hosts many festivals, vide greniers, music festivals and sporting events.
The Maison du Parc nearby holds events such as bird and bat spotting, tree climbing and cycle hire.
Nearby: Adventure Parc de l'Auxois, a fun family day out, water splash parK, animal park, rides,
playgrounds and restaurants.
Horse riding at the equestrian centre in Saulieu by the hour, half day or full day.
Honey farm at St Agnan, visit the bee hives, watch the honey being collected, sample
the various types of honey.
Mini golf and pony rides at Jarnoise. A day of fun for all with a cafe serving crepes
and ice creams
Okheanos, Large activity centre for quad biking, white water rafting and tree climbing.
